What is your shopping weakness?  Ugh... Everything.  I just like to buy a little bit of everything.  Handbags, scarves, jewelry, tops, dresses I usually never wear, and cute flats.  I have a problem!  To try and be more specific I could narrow it down more  to lately it's been mint.  I have bought a purse with mint all over it, mint bracelet and earrings, mint shorts, mint jeggings, and a few mint tops.  I am so loving that color this year!  

What is your food weakness?  Chicken Alfredo, Candy- anything gummy and fruits.  Somedays chocolate just depends on the day but I usually eat candy over chocolate.  

 

What is your go to movie when nothing else is on?  Not a movie watcher, I a lot of nights don't even turn TV on just go straight to computer when it's time to relax.  

What is your go to breakfast food?  I normally eat 2 eggs, or This awesome granola with almond milk.

Do you drink coffee?  If so how do you take it?  I'm not a coffee drinker.  Never have been never will be most likely even thought I love the smell.  I do really like hot chocolate though.  Instead of coffee my caffeine comes from Genesis Pure, Pure Energy.  Take it every day with a little bit of water.   You can ready more about it here if you would like.

This weeks questions are:

1)  What is your favorite thing about Spring?  Opening the windows, Flowers, feeling motivated by longer days, able to walk outside (will be running this year), not having to bundle up boys anymore and grilling out

2)  Favorite kind of flowers to grow or receive?  Tulips or hydrangeas  I love tulips but wished they lasted longer.

3)  What is your favorite nail polish color?  I'm boring, I have a bad habit of peeling my finger nails so I don't ever paint my nails.  Hoping to get nails put back on in a few weeks and maybe will do some fun colors after that.  Since I'm a little obsessed with mint and coral this year maybe I will do one of those.

4)  What is your favorite outdoor activity?  Love outdoor games, taking kids to park, eating outside and walks and of course trips to Homewood (our delicious ice cream stand in town.)

5)  Do you have any fun Spring plans?  Yes, more than usual.  This next weekend we are going to my grandparents in Georgia for Easter.  Then 2 weeks later we are taking the boys with a lot of Matthew's family to Disney for a few days.  Then Matthew and I are going to Las Vegas for a work conference towards the end of April without kids.  Then our last big trip planned is I'm going with my sisters and momma to San Diego for a quick vacation and my first 1/2 marathon.  It's going to be a busy next few months but I'm excited to be getting out of Illinois here and there.


It's weird to be talking about Spring like it's here, because it's supposed to be.  However at the moment in Central Illinois it's snowing and we could get over 6 inches.  It definitely looks like winter right now so Spring sounds wonderful.  This has been a long winter!

Here are this weeks questions


1) Favorite thing to do on a rainy day?  Blog, read blogs, nap, browse Pinterest.  Pretty much be lazy!

2) Favorite thing to do on a summer weekend?  Go to Homewood  which is our little local ice cream stand.  It's amazing!  Strawberry flavor burst with twinkle coating or Cookie Dough Shake and More, thank you!  However, bad news I think dairy is starting to get to me so will have to cut back this year.  I also love going for walks at night and grilling out.

3) Favorite Spring Accessory?  I'm not sure on this one.  My first thought was sandals or flip flops but they aren't really an accessory for sake of this questions I'm going to say they are!  I guess I also love getting a bright colored purse.  This year I want a mint or coral, can't decide which one!

4) Favorite way to spend winter day?  The same as rainy day but also in sweats and sweatshirt cozied up on the couch with a blanket.  I also love hot chocolate so sometimes add that in too.

5)  What is your favorite season and why?  Easy, I love fall.   I love the coolness after the summer heat for so long.  I love opening windows and just being outside after it starts to cool down.  I"m wimpy, I don't like extreme heat or sweating so I usually stay indoors a lot towards the end of summer.  I love the change of seasons so I have different clothes to wear as well.  I love the start of cozy foods, apple crisp and baking again!

6) Best Birthday I ever had?   Is it sad that I don't have a favorite?  The only two I can remember at this moment are 1 when I was really young and had a pool party at our house and I just remember it because of pictures.  And then 2 when I turned 20 my friend at the time (husband now)  turned a campout out into a "surprise" birthday party for me.  I'm not a big birthday person.  It's just another day.  Get me Strawberry jello cake, or a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake and I'm good.

This one is called Sunday Social and you just answer random questions that are given each week!

I'm not good at asking questions but I love answering other people's questions so here we go.

 1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch?  Pretty much all scary movies!  I'm extra wimpy when it comes to them.  I love the show Pretty Little Liars but even that is too much to take sometimes when I'm alone.  We have lots of windows in our living room and nothing over them and there is trees and and fields.  I don't chance freaking myself out!  

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet?  Easy one, Downton Abbey.  I  tried watching 1 episode, it didn't reel me in but since everyone is obsessed with it, it seems like I may have to make myself try a couple more.  

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?   I'm boring, I don't ever want to do anything crazy.  My practical answer is open a clothing store!  At first I was thinking this wasn't a daring one but since it would be a financial risk I'm saying it's daring!  

4. Would you ever travel alone?  Absolutely.  I'm weird.  I love being alone!  Hotel rooms are like heaven to me.  No responsibility, no cleaning needing done. No cooking,  Cable TV (we don't have cable or satellite, haha)  

5. What activities do you like to do alone?   Errands, cleaning, shopping  (mostly because I can get a lot more done without two little boys with me)
